Structural Louver Welder
Pay: $22+/hr (Based on experience)
Hours: Monday- Friday 5PM-5:30AM
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Catoosa, Oklahoma
Test: 2G and 3G Weld Test
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Structural Louver Welder, you will be responsible for welding fabricated parts of structural metal products within a workshop setting. You’ll need to plan the sequence of operations meticulously, consistently meeting stringent quality standards. This role involves obtaining specified electrodes, inserting them into portable holders or threading consumable electrode wire through portable welding guns. You will be responsible for connecting cables from the welding unit to achieve the specified amperage, voltage, slope, and pulse settings, as dictated by Welding Engineers or Technicians. Additionally, you will configure welding machine wire feed settings and interpret blueprints with precision.
Must Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in welding fabricated parts of structural metal products.
- Ability to plan and execute a sequence of operations with precision.
- Experience with inserting electrodes into portable holders or threading electrode wire through welding guns.
- Skilled in connecting cables from the welding unit to achieve specific settings.
- Competence in configuring welding machine wire feed settings.
- Strong ability to interpret blueprints accurately.
- Successful completion of a 2G and 3G Weld Test.
