Job Description: The Human Resources Administrative Specialist who is able to facilitate growth while building a long-lasting HR infrastructure. This position supports the business by helping to define, design, implement and manage HR processes and procedures.

Essential Functions:


Workforce Planning, Employment & Benefits

  • Implementing the organization’s recruiting strategy.
  • Analyze job duties and write job descriptions.
  • Manage job postings.
  • Prescreening resumes and candidates.
  • Scheduling interviews.
  • Assisting with completing background investigations.
  • Concluding onboarding and orientation sessions for new hires.
  • Assist in managing employee benefits packets and benefits enrollment.
  • Keep employee records up-to-date by processing employee status changes.
  • Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
  • Prepares and completes payroll.
  • Completes the month-end closing using the attendance system, and attendance sheets and reviewing all types of leave forms.

HR Development & Employee Relations


  • Assist in organizing and overseeing employee engagement activities.
  • Conducts training sessions and administers on-the-job training programs.
  • Assist with processing employee grievances.


Administration

  • Coordinate with the administration to create and host monthly events.
  • As a back-up administrator to ensure office and showroom remain operational.


Risk Management

  • Develop and administer health and safety programs.
  • Conduct safety inspections and maintain accident records.
  • Prepare government reports to remain in compliance.

Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to, and effectively communicate professionally with all levels of the company (i.e. Senior Management, colleagues, vendors, etc.).
  • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Must have Human Resources compliance knowledge.
  • Must have a positive and upbeat attitude.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, up to 20lbs consecutively.

Education & Experience Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Communication, or a related field.
  • Preferred minimum 1-year experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Fresh Graduates in related fields will also be considered.


Work Location:

  • Orlando office (7120 Lake Ellenor Drive, Orlando, FL32809).

Travel Requirements:

  • Available to travel locally when necessary.
  • Must hold a valid drivers license.

Pay range commensurate with experience: from $45,000 to $60,000 annually
