CV Resources is urgently seeking a Senior Payroll Manager on a contract/temporary basis with deep expertise in UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions to provide critical payroll management services for our global retail client. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with both US and Canadian payroll systems and regulations, coupled with advanced skills in UKG systems. This consultant role is vital in ensuring seamless payroll operations, compliance, and reporting for our esteemed retail partner.

NOTE: Candidates located in the Boise, ID metro area will be considered on a contract-to-hire basis if applicable. Fully remote candidates will only be considered on a consulting/contract basis.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management:


    • Oversee and manage end-to-end payroll processes, including US and Canadian payrolls.
    • Utilize UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions to handle payroll processing, data entry, calculations, and reporting with accuracy.

  • System Expertise:

    • Serve as the subject matter expert for UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions, providing expert guidance on system functionality, reporting, and troubleshooting.
    • Address and resolve any system-related issues promptly, working closely with the IT department to implement system updates and improvements.

  • Compliance and Reporting:


    • Ensure that payroll practices comply with all relevant federal, state, provincial, and local laws and regulations in both the US and Canada.
    • Manage payroll audits and rectify discrepancies or issues identified during audits.

  • Process Improvement:

    • Assess and enhance payroll processes and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.
    • Develop and document best practices and procedures for payroll management.
    • Provide training and support to payroll staff and key stakeholders on payroll operations and UKG systems.



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with UKG Pro and UKG Dimensions, including system configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record managing payroll for both US and Canadian employees, with a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex payroll operations and resolve issues efficiently.


Preferred:

  • Certification in payroll management, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
  • Familiarity with additional payroll systems or software.
  • Knowledge of international payroll practices and regulations.
