ALMA Support Associate – ReRoll Operator

This is a non-rotating, straight 8-hour shift position with a normal schedule of M-F, but some weekends may be required.

Safety

The operator follows prescribed safety procedures (Ref. SHMS 004).

Responsibilities

1. Monitor and maintain nonwoven line
2. Blend line operator
3. Operate Forklift
4. (MUST meet forklift certification including have Valid State Issued Driver’s License)
5. Other operator duties include but are not limited to: housekeeping, needle board repair, roll doffing and storage, assist lead technician

Authorized Shut Down

The operator is authorized to shut down the backwinder machine if it is unsafe or producing off quality.

High School Diploma or equivalent education and/or experience

Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools typically found in carpet/non-woven- yarn production or a related industry.
