As a Virtual Sales Consultant, with TriNet you’ll help power business success with extraordinary HR by pursuing new prospects, sharing and quantifying our value proposition, and selling TriNet’s comprehensive solutions. You’ll prospect and build your own book of business for SaaS and ASO in emerging markets, own your opportunities, and execute the sales process. In an effort of exceeding quota, you’ll build pipeline, conduct sales meetings with prospective clients via video conferencing, write proposals, gain approvals, and present those proposals to prospective clients, including C-level executives, business owners and other decision makers in midsize businesses.


Essential Duties/ Responsibilities
  • Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in assigned emerging market territories, may cover multiple states and/or regions and manage a diverse portfolio of industries within TriNet assigned verticals.
  • Prospect: Consistently work on building a balanced pipeline of target prospects through traditional means of prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn) and working within assigned accounts in specific GEOs.
  • Qualifying opportunities: Strong understanding of target emerging market and decision-making personas will help to qualify or disqualify quickly.
  • Value & Consultative Selling: Establish a trusted advisor relationship, both internally at TriNet and within the prospect’s decision-making system, to effectively gain successful business and long-term client relationships.
  • Sales Process: Utilize a sophisticated and multi-step selling process with defined criteria, executive sponsorship and internal business processes.
  • Sales tools and systems: Utilize Sales systems including Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo and quoting tools to efficiently and effectively manage daily activities.
  • Achieve annual quota target by meeting sales activity metrics.
  • Complete all administrative tasks and duties in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate TriNet’s Core Values daily.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.


Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred



Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in B2B multi-stage, full sales cycle virtual sales role, with knowledge in SaaS, HRO, Cloud, HRIS, ERP, and/or technology. REQUIREDProven SaaS, HCM, and/or ASO is ideal. PREFERRED

  • Ability to build strong ecosystem partnerships and business referral relationships to share the value and mission of TriNet.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with technology and common software and web applications, including MS Office and Salesforce.com or comparable CRM.

Travel Requirements

Minimal travel may be expected on occasion. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $85,000. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with TriNet’s commission plan.
