Job Description
Data Analytics Engineer Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, integrate, maintain, build, and launch collections of data models, queries, reports and visualizations that support multiple use cases for Channel and Customer Operations.
- Leads data and analytics within Channel and Customer Operations and XFN squads, engineers, business owners, solution leads, and data scientists to understand data needs, representing key data insights in a meaningful way.
- Collaborates with data architecture teams to conceptualize multiple large-scale projects, while evaluating design and operational cost-benefit tradeoffs within systems
- Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
- Optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to facilitate easier development of data artifacts
- Mentor team members by giving/receiving actionable feedback
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience working with supply chain functions within customer operations
- Experience with SQL, ETL and data modeling
- Experience in developing and working with Tableau driven dashboards and analytics.
- Experience querying and displaying large data sets while maximizing the performance of the workbook.
- Experience interpreting technical or dashboard structures and translating them to complex business requirements to technical specifications.
- Experience in building internal and external customer relationships.
- Experience with Agile and/or scrum project management techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a STEM field.
- Experience with one or more of the following: data processing automation, data quality, data warehousing, data governance, data privacy
- Experience working with large scale data models
- Experience with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, C#, Scala, R, etc.)
- Experience working in the high-volume consumer electronics industry, preferably in supply chain and operations functions.
