Senior Property Tax Analyst

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Property Tax Analyst to join our team. This role involves managing and analysing property tax data to ensure compliance and strategic optimisation for our property portfolio. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to support our financial strategies and deliver insightful recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file personal property tax returns accurately and on time for all retail locations across the U.S.
• Manage property tax obligations, including coordinating, tracking, and processing payments.
• Respond to inquiries from taxing jurisdictions and provide support for audits.
• Integrate property tax software and assist with forecasting property tax liabilities.
• Review assessments for accuracy, identify opportunities for cost savings, and file appeals.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property tax or a similar role.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned duties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset, with the ability to research and apply technical guidance.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls.
