Cypress & Oak, the restaurant at The Delegate Hotel is hiring for an Expo/Food Runner!

Front-of-house staff is friendly, courteous, helpful, timely, and works in a professional manner resulting in a very high level of guest satisfaction. As a member of the front-of-house team, you'll create memorable experiences for our guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Verify orders before taking it to the table to ensure guests are receiving the correct order.
• Organize food tickets for the chefs.
• Performs opening and closing responsibilities in a timely and detailed manner.
• Answers guest questions about food preparation details and communicates specific guest needs to the kitchen.
• Knows and can answer all general and allergen related food menus questions
• Uphold sanitation and food safety standards.
• Attends pre-shift meeting to review/communicate information regarding service, VIP's, Specials.
• Ensure guests have all necessary tableware, condiments, and other items to properly enjoy their food.
• Maintains a positive guest experience with effective communication of all guest recovery situations while documenting such occurrences to the MOD.
• Performs basic cleaning tasks as needed or instructed by management.
• Assists and supports team members, as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Experience:

• Demonstrates knowledge and ability to execute restaurant standards.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• 1 Year of customer service experience.
