ECVC Associate

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with emerging growth companies and venture capital investors, leading transactions, and engaging directly with founders, CEOs, and boards of directors. This role offers the opportunity to advise companies at various stages of development, from seed-stage startups to mature public companies.

• Lead and manage transactions, including venture financings and strategic deals, for both emerging companies and venture capital clients.
• Counsel clients on a broad range of corporate matters, including equity structures, corporate governance, strategic transactions, fundraising, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise entrepreneurs and company management on formation, venture financings, and structuring equity incentive plans.
• Provide legal advice to venture capital firms and institutional investors on investing in growth-stage companies.
• Work with clients across diverse industries such as AI, autonomous vehicles, cleantech, fintech, life sciences, digital media, semiconductors, and web3 technologies.

Essential Skills and Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in an ECVC-focused legal practice.
• Strong background in representing technology and growth companies, as well as advising venture capital firms.
• Proven ability to lead transactions and interact directly with C-suite executives, boards of directors, and investors.
• Demonstrated interest in working with emerging industries and disruptive technologies.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
