Lead Mammography Technologist – Full Time – Days 10am-6pm

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammo Technologist to join our team. As a Lead Mammo Tech you will work in dedicated mammography suite performing screening/diagnostic mammograms and image guided procedures, assist the Radiologist with mammography guided biopsies and aspirations and perform required daily, weekly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual QA/QC testing in accordance with the ACR, FDA and DOH rules and regulations to ensure safe operation of equipment. You will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Use your expertise to assist with the diagnosis of rare and complex cases. This is a full time days position working Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with rotating Saturdays 8am-4pm and rotating holidays at our Columbia Presbyterian campus.

Preferred Criteria

• Prior supervisory/leadership experience
• Prior experience with QA/QC
• Prior experience with MQSA/ACR standards
• Basic Cardiac Life Support

Required Criteria 

• Minimum 3 years of mammography experience
• American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) registered in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
• New York State Radiologic Technologist license
• Graduate of approved School of Radiology
• High School Diploma/GED
• Proficient in EMR, RIS, HIS, PACS, Modality specific software
