A Procurement Coordinator job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The procurement coordinator is responsible for the acquisition of goods and services across categories in support of company requirements. This role will be responsible for supporting multiple teams across the organization, as well as execute department and company-wide initiatives and adherence to SMWE Company Policies and Procedures.

Procurement Coordinator job responsibilities include:


  • Create POs for multiple internal clients in a timely manner within company guidelines. Work with AP on issue resolution.
  • Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve lead time, delivery, quality, and pricing issues and work cross functionally to resolve.
  • Identify materials for write-off, work with accounting and warehouse for approvals and disposal.
  • Develop effective internal and supplier relationships.
  • Identify and champion inventory reduction initiatives.
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of item master, monthly open orders report, supplier performance metrics, and purchase price variance reports as needed.
  • Provide support to Buyers as needed.

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a purchasing role, including purchase orders, compliance with procurement requirements, and supplier management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or related field) preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing data.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing methods and quality control processes a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to develop positive business relationships with internal departments and suppliers.
  • Team player who demonstrates problem solving abilities and strives toward continuous improvement.
  • History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.

Your Compensation:


$60,951 – $79,162/yr. based upon relevant experience.
