The Opportunity

The Senior Sales Specialist position is a corporate position that supports when there are vacancies director of sales role. These vacancies can be maternity leave, FMLA, or new openings. The Director of Sales Specialist position is home office based with travel expected based on request. The Role

•Works collaboratively with hotel teams, Hyatt SalesForce, and other hotel counterparts to drive revenue ensure customer satisfaction and increase market share.

•Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers, and industry organizations to enable future bookings. Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.



• Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

•Understands the overall market including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply, and demand, and knows how to sell competitively.


•Working closely with the Director of Sales to develop and implement strategies to maximize business level


Qualifications


Qualifications

•Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills


•Proven sales experience with the ability to lead, guide, and achieve personal revenue goals

•Ability to use analytical data to create a sales strategy with a results-driven approach


•Strategic orientation with the know-how to problem solve under pressure

•Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and TravelClick Suite of reports


•Leisure and Corporate Transient Sales experience highly preferred

Experience Required:


•Has recently worked for Hyatt as a previous Group Sales Manager and familiar with Hyatt system
