Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead full-stack application development using technologies like Java, Angular 15+, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Guide team members on modern software engineering practices such as TDD, ATDD, Microservices, Stateless Design, and Containerization.
  • Design and implement solutions using AWS infrastructure, leveraging tools such as EKS, Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to shape product design and improve engineering practices within an agile environment.
  • Utilize modern automated deployment tools, working within CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Aim to be a thoughtful, inspiring leader who encourages innovative solutions within the team.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Angular 15+.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience working in modernized development teams.
  • Expertise in cloud technologies, particularly AWS (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS).
  • Familiarity with EKS, Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in modern development tools such as Jenkins, Cucumber, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Bitbucket), and Git.
  • Knowledge of automated deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating across IT and business lines.
  • Preferred experience with Python and the Atlassian Suite.
