Overview

St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting full-time opportunity with our new Neurosurgery Triage Clinic in Boise. The clinic will be open, providing care, 5 days per week. The selected Advanced Practitioners will work full-time, M – F, 8 am – 5 pm, providing care in a clinic setting with some inpatient work (no call responsibility afterhours). The Practitioner will facilitate same day urgent patient appointments, emergency department consults, inpatient consultations, and assistance with inpatient admissions. Patient evaluations will include incision checks, post-op infection follow-ups, wound vac placement, shunt adjustments, fracture management (patients needing immediate bracing).



Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate education from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or qualifying education as designated by the Idaho Board of Nursing.
  • Physician Assistant
  • Licenses/Certifications: License and certification, as required by the specialty, or be eligible to obtain licensure from Idaho Board of Nursing to practice as a Nurse Practitioner. Must obtain and maintain unrestricted prescriptive authority, DEA, and controlled substance licenses
