The Siemens Industry, Inc. in Roebuck, SC, is seeking a Lighting Panels Line Manager. In this position, you will oversee the daily operations of the Lighting Panels Assembly line, ensuring the efficient and safe production of lighting panels while meeting quality standards, delivery targets, and cost objectives. This role involves supervising a team, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with Lean manufacturing principles and company policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Leadership and Team Management
- Directly manages Supervisors who in turn manage group leaders, coordinators, and technicians within the department.
- Develop, mentor, and support team members to enhance leadership and operational skills.
- Ensure adequate staffing and oversee hiring, training, and development of employees.
- Foster a positive and safe work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
Production Oversight
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly production goals (SQDCI: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory) are met.
- Lead and monitor the implementation of Lean principles, such as Rhythm Wheel production, takt time monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct daily reviews of production schedules and adjust plans to meet changing customer demands and internal priorities.
- Monitor production performance and adjust labor assignments as necessary.
Safety and Compliance
- Promote and enforce safety standards within the assembly area, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company regulations.
- Address safety incidents and lead corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular safety audits and lead monthly safety meetings.
Quality Control
- Ensure product quality by implementing rigorous standards and reviewing quality control procedures.
- Address and correct any quality issues, including auditing for potential gaps that may cause production or quality-related failures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on quality standards and the consequences of errors.
Process Improvement
- Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement Projects (CIPs) to drive operational efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvements.
- Analyze production data and implement changes to improve workflow, reduce waste, and optimize the material flow within the assembly area.
SAP and Inventory Management
- Ensure accuracy in SAP transactions related to material consumption, order completion, and production scheduling.
- Oversee material flow and manage shortages in collaboration with the Materials Department.
Reporting and Audits
- Prepare and present performance reports, including production, quality, safety, and cost metrics.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, particularly during audits (e.g., ISO clauses 7.1-7.5, 8.1, 8.5.1-8.5.4, 8.6).
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading production teams and delivering operational results.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in the Lighting Panels or electrical products industry.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and compliance procedures.
- Experience leading continuous improvement or Lean projects.

The pay for this position is $72,400 – $124,100 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
