We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Medical Assistant at our NY Gastroenterology and Hepatology, the Office of Jonathan Reiber, MD in Yonkers, New York

The Medical Assistant Responsibilities are:

• • Assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms.
  • Medical Assistant provides assistance to Physicians and services and care to patients including escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vitals and patient history, PIF charts, other clerical duties, EMR data entry and handling telephone calls.
  • Medical Assistant requires a positive approach, ability to multi-task, flexibility and a keen understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Front Desk receptionist duties such as; answering calls, scheduling appointments, and recalling patients
  
  

The Medical Assistant must have the following qualifications and experience:

• High School graduate or GED.
• 1 to 2 year of medical office experience required
• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant
• Spanish-speaking a must
