Marketing Specialist

Taos Ski Valley is seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to craft compelling stories and drive engagement for a world-class destination where the Rockies meet the high desert, offering an unforgettable mountain experience year-round. The Marketing Specialist will support the Marketing Manager in developing and managing strategic business initiatives, supporting content creation and creative production, and tracking performance metrics. This role offers the opportunity to support both strategic marketing initiatives and creative production with room to grow and develop across various areas of the marketing team.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Craft compelling copy and marketing assets for email, social media, app messaging, and website content that aligns with brand messaging and drives behavior.
• Coordinate creative production processes, ensuring timely delivery of assets and assisting in logistics, working closely with the Visual Brand Manager and key creative production stakeholders.
• Maintain department status documents to track project progress, timelines, and key deliverables.
• Analyze data to inform marketing decisions, suggest test and learn strategies, and optimize engagement to drive performance.
• Support the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across different departments and agencies to support business initiatives.
• Utilize various tools and platforms to manage projects and execute marketing campaigns; previous experience with Acoustic, Monday, Inntopia Marketing Cloud, Mohara, and/or Alpine Media Technologies a plus.
• Stay up to date on marketing best practices, privacy compliance, and industry trends and standards to ensure best-in-class marketing execution.

Qualifications/Knowledge:

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field or equivalent job experience
• Previous experience and/or certifications with digital platforms and tools to execute marketing activation
• Intermediate to advanced skier a plus
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Work Environment:
Taos Ski Valley, Inc. is often a fast-paced work environment, especially during Holidays and Peak days. TSVI is in a high-altitude alpine environment. Position may require travel on uneven, snow-packed, or icy terrain and may be exposed to wet, cold, and/or humid conditions. Must be able to work in close quarters and with other staff.

Physical Demands of Position Include:
Candidate must be able to work at a computer for long periods of time, and commute to and from the office. Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. This job may require sitting, standing, walking, and skiing/snowboarding. Intermediate to advanced skiers/riders are preferred.
