We’re a group of awesome human beings, looking for an awesome human being to define, develop, and implement strategic business relationships for the establishment of new and existing tissue referral sources (such as hospitals, first responder, JPs, etc.) and increase referral volume in current and surrounding donation service area.

– We will help train to obtain your CTBS certification.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage, develop, and implement recruiting strategies for tissue referral sources.
  • Execute those strategies to meet and exceed tissue referral goals within the territory.
  • Develop and maintain effective and successful shared service provider relationships and develop prospective shared service provider relationships.
  • Manage new account evaluation, proposal development, presentation, and recruitment of new referral sources
  • Identify, secure, and maintain referral source accounts including, but not limited to out of hospital partners such as Justices of the Peace, Medical Examiners and Private Pathologists, funeral homes, long term care facilities, law enforcement and emergency medical, fire and rescue organizations to ensure all donation opportunities are referred to United Tissue Resources. Maintain presence among the various referral sources.
  • Develop and facilitate the execution of Memorandums of Agreement (MOUs) and contracts with all out of hospital referral partners, when applicable.
  • Help prepare and present powerful, persuasive presentations that effectively demonstrate the value proposition of UTR value add solutions to the donor referral base community.
  • Serve as secondary spokesperson and point of contact on behalf of UTR with media, community and hospital donor referral sources as needed. Manage and distribute UTR branded material. Participate in UTR special functions and community events.
  • Serve as liaison between UTR and out of hospital donation partners and conduct routine visits to develop productive relationships and provide customer service and education. Respond to individual partner needs and share mutual feedback.
  • Plan, develop and implement education programs and recognition opportunities for out of hospital donation partners.
  • Prepare periodic and special reports, assessments, after action reviews on recruitment and referral activities.
  • When appropriate, work with various internal departments to improve communication, processes, outcomes, customer service, policies, and system modifications as necessary for assigned group accounts.
  • Collaborate with UTR team members to further meet and exceed overall organizational goals and growth. Deploy the development of new business opportunities as well as expansion of services to existing accounts.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations and adhere to established quality practices while seeking to continually improve work performance.

  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Skills, Education, & Experience:


  • Minimum of 2 years sales account management or healthcare account management or similar experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or communication with healthcare experience preferred.
  • Must be a CTBS certified or test for CTBS at next available exam cycle.
  • Must exhibit professional conduct and demeanor at all times.
  • Must have excellent public speaking and communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Ability to self-start, organize and prioritize under changing conditions, manage multiple projects, and handles stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, some evenings and/or weekends as necessary.
  • Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
  • Spanish speaking preferred.

  • Ability to travel at least 3 days a week to assigned territory.
  • Ability to assimilate information reaching reasonable conclusions.
  • Must be able to make sound judgments.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Light lifting.
