Overview

As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you will have a solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle and a strong grasp of various automation tools used to develop CI/CD pipelines. You will apply security best practices, cloud provisioning, container orchestration, and configuration management to build, maintain, and monitor highly available distributed systems.

You will be part of a team of professionals supporting our development team in designing, developing, and improving our products. While you’ll work with cutting-edge technologies, you’ll also handle routine tasks, with your expertise directly influencing team decisions. In this role, you will manage our infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach, explore new cloud services, maintain and improve clustered solutions (e.g., Kubernetes), and ensure our infrastructure is secure, up-to-date, and highly available. Additionally, you will provide consultation to other technical teams on building robust, cost-efficient distributed systems in the cloud.



In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Support infrastructure vulnerability managementSupport DevSecOps principlesDeploy updates and fixesResolve developers requests in timely manner
  • Perform root cause analysis for production errors
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Develop scripts to automate routine processes
  • Design and document procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Status tracking and reportingParticipate in Disaster Recovery Plan testing and recovering after disaster


Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:


  • 3+ years of work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with K8s/EKS 2+
  • Good knowledge of LinuxGood knowledge of networks (routing, load-balancing, security, etc)
  • Good knowledge of CI/CD processes and hands-on experience with one of CI tools (Jenkins, Gitlab-CI)
  • Hands-on experience with Helm
  • Hands-on experience with scripting (Bash/Python/Groovy)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud provision tools (Terraform, Terragrunt, Cloudformation)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Cloudwatch, Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Experience with vulnerability scanners (cloud, containers, networks, servers)
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Team spirit

Extended Qualifications:



  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
  • Hands-on experience with logging tools (Cloudwatch, Loki)
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools like Vagrant, Packer
  • Experience in assets security (Firewalls, Nessus, Prowler, Trivy)
  • Delivery strategies (A/B deployment or blue-green deployment, canaries deployment, rollback, etc)
  • Experience with microservices architecture deployment and support – optional
  • Experience in designing and maintaining development and production cloud infrastructure as a code
  • Hands-on experience building the highly available, scalable, distributed, and robust production environment
