Performs as a Supervisor and serves as Manager in the absence of the regular Manager. If an individual serves in the Manager role, they will not sign off on or approve transactions they were a part of as a Supervisor. Assists with the management of the Table Games Department on an assigned shift and in accordance with the approved policies, procedures, Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, and Internal Controls. Promotes and maintains the utmost integrity and high-quality customer service to all patrons and employees.
QUALIFICATIONS
Current Table Games Supervisory experience. Qualified candidates must have good analytical, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Candidates must possess effective communication skills both oral and written. Must have an upbeat and positive attitude, professional appearance and be a team player.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Complies with Indiana Gaming Commission Regulations, approved internal controls, as well as company policies. • Supervises the Table Games operations and personnel on assigned shift as necessary. • Review staffing and workstation assignments and adjust as needed to ensure compliance with the gaming laws and internal controls • Ensure required equipment is available and functioning properly • Review the performance of staff • Ensure all gaming staff is trained on all policies and procedures • Sets high personal standards for performance and encourages others to do the same. • Proactively recognizes rewards and celebrates outstanding examples of employee performance. • Perform Tandem Spotlights • Coaches’ direct reports in pertinent skills of operations. Provide written feedback in the form of PFF when applicable up to Documented Coaching, additional levels of discipline must be approved by a Shift Manager or above before issuing. • Counsels, guides, and instructs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties. • Serves as a role model to all employees at all time. • Void Fills / Markers; Monitors table limits; Is aware of situational play in the pit and informs the Assistant Table Games Shift Manager or Poker Shift Manager; Complete progressive/taxable jackpots and wins • Serves as the “expert” on the floor • Authorizes guest complimentary to recognize loyal players in accordance with company guidelines. • Ensures all guests problems are handled quickly to ensure guest satisfaction within the established guidelines. • Maintains departmental procedures that will assure proper protection of all gaming operations from due to loss, mistake or theft. • Maintains current information on laws and regulations effecting table games. • Reviews and assesses reports and other relevant sources of information related to the operations. • All other job duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time (minimum of 2 -4-hour intervals). • Must be able to sit for long periods of time (minimum 2-4-hour intervals). • Responds to visual and aural cues. • Must have the manual dexterity to manipulate cards, dice and spinning wheels, as well as operate a computer. • Must be able to reach, bend, twist, turn, stoop, kneel, grab, grip, sort, and stack. • Must be able to maneuver from floor to floor either by stairways (minimum of 20 steps) or escalator. • Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, strong odors, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS
Must qualify for, obtain, and maintain a gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission.
