Job Summary
Maintain medication needs for residents, order medications, and transcribe vital information in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
- Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with healthcare professionals as necessary.
- Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
- Respond to emergency calls, resident requests, and environmental hazards in a timely and safe manner.
Requirements
To be successful in this position, you need:
- A High School diploma or equivalent.
- All state educational requirements must be met.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
- A calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor.
