Job Summary

Maintain medication needs for residents, order medications, and transcribe vital information in a timely manner.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain, order, and assist residents with medication needs.
  • Transcribe and document in the Medication Assistance Record.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, vital signs, first aid, wound care, and communication with healthcare professionals as necessary.
  • Transport residents within the community to activities, departments, or dining.
  • Respond to emergency calls, resident requests, and environmental hazards in a timely and safe manner.


Requirements

To be successful in this position, you need:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent.
  • All state educational requirements must be met.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
  • A calm, helpful, and respectful demeanor.
