Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anesthesia management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities:


The successful CRNA will be responsible for the following duties:
• Reviews and assesses patient condition, developing an anesthesia management plan in collaboration with anesthesiologists.
• Administers anesthetic agents, calculates doses, and monitors parameters.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation.
• Responds to emergencies, establishing and maintaining patient airways via intubation, documents treatment rendered.
• Transports patients from the surgery area to the post-anesthesia recovery area, reporting patient status to physicians and caregivers.

Common Expectations:


The CRNA is expected to demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles over the lifespan of assigned patient populations, assessing and interpreting age-specific data, and providing appropriate age-specific treatment.

Additionally, they must provide direct patient care to assigned age groups, commit to patient, visitor, and staff safety, and maintain established policies and procedures.


Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
• Master’s degree in nurse anesthesia required.
• 1 year of relevant experience as a CRNA preferred.
• Licenses: Licensed Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse Multi-State License, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist upon hire required.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nurse anesthesia required. Earn 40 CME every 2 years to maintain certification required.

Physical Demands and Working Environment:


This role requires standing frequently, walking frequently, and sitting occasionally.

It also involves carrying or lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds, kneeling or crouching occasionally, and repetitive motions. The working environment may expose the CRNA to occupational hazards, bloodborne pathogens, and other potential risks.

Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 – $220,000 per year
