Hours: coverage needed will be: Monday- Friday 8am-4:30pm General Description Perform a variety of tasks eminent in operating radiographic equipment to perform procedures. The position will be part of the Ambulatory Imaging Division and located at the Arringdon Duke Health facility. The new IR clinic will operate 40 hours a week, except when closed for Holidays, to accommodate outpatient IR procedures. There will be no call associated with this position. This position must support the Ambulatory Radiology Division and perform other duties as assigned and supported by scope of practice. Perform other related duties incidental to the work therein. Required Qualifications at this LevelEducationGraduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification. ExperienceLevel I must obtain ARRT certification within 18 months of employment. Level II Minimum of two years’ experience as an Interventional technologist. Level III A minimum of four years’ experience within specialty modality in which they are seeking promotion. Degrees, Licensure, and/or CertificationARRT certification in radiography ARRT certification in vascular interventional technology must be obtained within 18 months of hire BLS certification Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to work with the most complex technology Ability to assume a leadership role Distinguishing Characteristics of this Level |
