Position Summary:
Duke University is seeking a qualified candidate for the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach / Goalkeeper Coach position. This position will assist the Head Coach with the organizing, planning and coaching of the Women’s Soccer team.
Essential Functions:
• The assistant coach is responsible for the instruction and development of soccer technique and strategy, working specifically with goalkeepers
• Assist with recruitment of student-athletes
• Assist with travel planning
• Assist with equipment maintenance
• Additional duties to further the mission and success of Duke Women’s Soccer

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years coaching experience at the Division I or professional level required
• A commitment to knowing and complying with NCAA, ACC, and institutional rules.

Knowledge, Skills, Ability:

• Ability to work with a diverse population
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Knowledge of intercollegiate sports operations
• Ability to travel extensively during the recruiting process
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic and diverse university setting
