The Talent Market Intelligence Sr. Analyst will develop a deep understanding of our business and market trends and provide high-level industry intelligence for the Talent Acquisition team across the enterprise. As a vital member of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will support talent acquisition efforts by focusing on collecting, analyzing, updating and presenting data and market insights to build out our knowledge of competitive landscapes and influence broad reaching talent acquisition strategies.
We are looking for a critical thinker with a passion for research and storytelling. This individual will be asked to ideate, process, synthesize and analyze complex information effectively in a concise manner.
What You Will Do
- Lead the timely and accurate collection of industry, competitor and general talent landscape trends to enable talent strategies and recommendations
- Develop and refine Boolean queries to extract and analyze relevant data from various sources, supporting targeted market intelligence efforts
- Conduct public research & collect data to spearhead the creation and maintenance of relevant organizational charts and industry talent maps
- Be our expert on industry news – provide regular market updates and identify potential impacts for our business and talent acquisition space
- Synthesize complex data from multiple sources into clear, concise reports that are easily understood by stakeholders at all levels of the organization, covering subjects like company mergers & acquisitions, layoffs, promotions, external labor market trends
- Lead and maintain partnerships with recruiting teams and internal stakeholders to identify market intelligence needs including talent pool statistics, functional/industry insights, geographical trends, company trends, etc.
- Maintain a high level of data integrity across all sources, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of research data
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to Talent Acquisition teams and business partners to inform sourcing strategies, recruitment efforts, and broader organizational development work
- Proactively anticipate market intelligence projects as needed based on engagement with business leadership
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 3+ years’ experience in talent intelligence or market intelligence research, organizational development, or a market research related position
- Analytical, creative, and driven storyteller, with experience confidently presenting research findings to key partners/leaders
- Experience conducting research, as well as collecting and framing market data to enable partners to inform and influence decisions
- Experience analyzing market trends and making recommendations based on findings
- Presentation design expertise, a high level of attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating project plans and managing execution of concurrent work-streams and priorities
- Experience using third-party and SaaS tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron, JobsEQ, or comparable talent research tools
- Knowledge of statistical and probability principles, particularly as they relate to qualitative data, accompanied by solid knowledge of visualization and analytics tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Visio
- Strong curiosity, an analytical approach and a drive to succeed
- Experience working with cross functional teams to translate business needs into data requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, HRM, Industrial psychology, Organizational Development, Market research, Statistics, Data Analytics, or another related field
The hiring range for this remote position is $108,200 to $152,200 per year, which factors in various geographic regions. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
