The duties and responsibilities as an IT Specialist (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) GS-2210-14 generally include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Providing dynamic and complex IT customer service to high level executives.
  • Evaluating end-user requirement data and proposed customer service models sufficient to identify, evaluate and adapt new methods to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Strategically planning and governing the planning and delivery of hardware and software services to high level executives.
  • Scheduling and directing staff meetings with other Senior Leaders to provide assistance, analyze problem areas, and to evaluate the effectiveness of customer service support.

Qualifications

To qualify for the position of IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/CUSTSPT) at (GS-2210-14), you must meet the basic qualification requirements listed below AND possess the required specialized experience specific to this series and grade.

Basic Qualifications (2210 series):


  1. Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attention to detail.
  2. AND

Specialized Experience: For the GS-14, you must have one year of experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as:



  • Providing Information Technology (IT) service including service delivery, strategic planning, and financial/budget management to high level executives.
  • Providing technical IT guidance, interpretation, and implementation oversight of applicable information security policies, processes, and practices. AND
  • Working with contractors and ensuring duties do not exceed deliverables of their contracts.
