Position Summary : The Merchandise Operations Coordinator oversees the logistical and administrative aspects of merchandise operations for Goldenvoice festivals. This role involves coordinating with internal teams, designers, and vendors to ensure on-time delivery within budget, tracking project progress, and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Position Details & Required Availability:
- This is a temporary position based in Los Angeles, CA & Indio, CA starting on January 13, 2025 and ending on June 30, 2025
- Relocation to festival-provided housing required from April 7, 2025 – April 28, 2025. Working meals will be provided in Indio.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the Sr. Manager and Sr. Director of Merchandise in designing, developing, and overseeing merchandise sales operations for Goldenvoice festivals.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations for merchandise projects.
- Monitor project progress against established timelines and identify potential roadblocks.
- Monitor product inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of merchandise to distribution centers and festival venues.
- Proofread creative materials, including presentations, production art files, designs, product descriptions, and webstore copy.
- Oversee festival webstore product catalogs, ensuring accurate and visually appealing descriptions, images, pricing, and categories to drive customer engagement.
- Monitor e-commerce merchandise inventory, update stock levels, and oversee timely order fulfillment and customer communications.
- Respond to customer service inquiries as needed via merchandise email accounts.
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing team to launch product in festival apps and develop communication strategies.
- Maintain detailed documentation, including timelines, budgets, and meeting notes, for all projects.
- Participate in gathering key research to support merchandise strategies and initiatives.
Required Qualifications :
- A minimum education level of: High School Diploma or its equivalency
- A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant work experience is required; experience in consumer goods or the music industry is preferred.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Excellent attention to detail, especially in proofreading and quality control of creative materials.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track inventory and manage budgets effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends as needed
Pay Scale: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
