Video Security Sales Rep Job Summary


We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to support our company in expanding and nurturing our clientele. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sales acumen and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, working both independently and collaboratively.

Video Security Sales Rep Responsibilities


  • Follow up on existing sales leads through cold calling, gathering referrals, reaching out to local companies, and attending networking events.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of job site surveys to determine optimal solutions for prospective customers and assist with site-specific details for project completion.
  • Maintain a strong drive to exceed activity quotas and sales targets.
  • Oversee site plan development and select subcontractors to meet installation requirements based on forecasts and actual bookings.
  • Accompany the installation team to ensure a clear understanding of site layouts and project requirements.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Plan, forecast, monitor, and report all sales activities to assess performance and inform strategic decisions.

Video Security Sales Rep Position Requirements

  • Applicants must be 24 years of age or older.
  • A valid Texas driver’s license is required.
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English is essential.
  • Candidates must be employment-eligible based on background requirements, including a criminal background check, clean motor vehicle record (MVR), and health/drug screening.
  • Strong phone communication skills are necessary for engaging with prospects and business professionals.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in outside/inside sales, with a focus on sourcing and managing leads in a high-volume sales environment, is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven success in business-to-business (B2B) sales is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the technology industry, particularly in B2B sales, is a plus.
  • Experience with network cabling, IP cameras, burglar alarms, access control installations, and other integrated security systems is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, particularly HubSpot, is a plus.
  • Strong typing skills (50+ words per minute) are required.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure is essential.
  • Candidates must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent customer service skills are a must.
  • A desire to grow, learn, and work collaboratively in a team environment is important.
  • An excellent sense of urgency is required.
  • Candidates must be able to pass a driving and background check
