How can you make an impact?

McGraw Hill is looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to support our Higher Education Strategy & Operations teams and the SVP of Srategy & Operations who leads this function. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of these teams by managing key administrative tasks, coordinating meetings, organizing and maintaining data, onboarding new team members, and supporting team operations. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving consistency and efficiency and therefore the team’s success. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy & Operations for Higher Education, you will join a dynamic team focused on making a meaningful impact on learners and educators across the United States.



This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What you will be doing:


  • Manage and maintain calendar for the SVP of Strategy & Operations, including the scheduling and prioritization of meetings
  • Assist with day-today correspondence, emails, travel arrangements, and expense reports on behalf of the SVP of Strategy & Operations
  • Provide technical support in submitting IT tickets and manage account logistics for team leaders
  • Support onboarding and offboarding operations of employees, and associated administrative tasks
  • Manage the ordering, distribution, and tracking of equipment, supplies, and digital accounts for team members
  • Manage vendor contracts, submitting and tracking invoices, and updating email distribution lists
  • Contribute to the scheduling, coordination, management, and logistics of in-person meetings
  • Organize and manage team documents, databases, files, templates, and records
  • Communicate updates and reminders to team members, and support team culture by coordinating celebrations, recognitions, and team-building activities
  • Act as the primary point of contact for team administrative needs

We are looking for someone with…

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4+ years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management tools, and Data management
  • Financial and Budget Management Skills

The pay range for this position is between $62,000-$98,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
