The role you’ll contribute:
The Resource Manager who is a Registered Nurse reports to the Director of Nursing and is responsible for hiring, training, empowering all Float Personnel, Clinical Resource Specialists, Medical Assistant and other certification externs and tracking lab internal and external services. This position may coordinate or oversee the deployment of all float team members to ensure the interim staffing needs are met either in person or virtually. The Resource Manager, RN will build and maintain effective relationships with medical group customers as well as peers and other members of the Clinical Education, Quality Improvement , Risk, and Clinical Operations.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Ration Hires, trains, evaluates, and manages all float team members. Collaborates and maintains relationship with the team to ensure appropriate training and development for float pool team members. Ensures employees complete appropriate training based on job class.
· Assists with work orders to deploy the Clinical Resource Specialist Coordinators (CRS) to areas of need.
· Monitors all quality management of CLIA testing.
· May travel throughout the region at 80% of time to evaluate performance or float pool staffing needs, CRS, Laboratory and Externs.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
- Associates of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree
- 5 Years of leadership
- Three to five years of experience in nursing, preferably in the ambulatory setting or specialty
- Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certification
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing
- Laboratory CLIA regulations
