*Shift: *Evening 4×10-Hour (1:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

*Pay Rate: *$60,000-$65,000/annually

*Job Duration: *Permanent (Full Time)

*Job Description*

The *MLT* independently performs various qualitative, quantitative clinical laboratory testing and quality control in all section(s) of the laboratory: ie., microbiology, chemistry, blood bank, hematology, and phlebotomy/urinalysis. All activities performed are in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards.

Tech must be a team player with good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment. The above level of knowledge, skills and abilities are normally acquired through the successful completion of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in medical Laboratory technology or related science required and an ASCP, NCA or equivalent certification. laboratory computer knowledge and skills preferred.

* A.S., Medical Laboratory Technician – Required
* Copy of highest degree earned (diploma) or transcripts – Required
* Employed as a Generalist for the past 2 years – Required
* ASCP-Certified as a Generalist – Required
* At least 2 recent supervisory references – Required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

License/Certification:
* ASCP Certification (Required)
