Materials Processor – Receiving and Stores – Full Time Days (Alternate weekends after training)

Receives items for shipment from department or incoming merchandise received from outside vendors to be delivered to departments throughout the hospital in accordance with established procedures. Delivers supplies or reports in accordance with established procedure. May check stock of items, as required, throughout the hospital. Delivers shipments to appropriate department and obtains appropriate signatures as required. Delivers supplies and materials by pushing or pulling cart or hand truck to assigned areas. Unloads supplies at point of delivery. Maintains delivery log recording time for delivery and submits to appropriate department personnel as required. Utilizes computer systems to input or retrieve information when needed.

This is a full-time day shift, 8am-4pm (Every Other Weekend after training) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital located in Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester County, NY.

Preferred Criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Mathematics and business courses.

• Stockroom and Receiving experience desirable.

• Ability to effectively communicate with hospital personnel.

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
