Position Summary
The Distributor Account Management Manager, is responsible for leading the collaboration and alignment of supply chain activities for their assigned distributors, within Constellation’s Beer Division. This individual will ensure their assigned distributors are equipped to support the overarching commercial business from an inventory and service perspective, as well as operating efficiently as part of the overarching Beer Supply Chain, as an extension of the S&OE process.
This role involves leading a team of individuals with the goal of reducing supply chain inefficiencies and achieving optimal service levels by ensuring the distributor operating model aligns with targeted inventory levels, specified market demand, and fulfillment processes to maximize service (On Time, In Full) and optimize total landed cost while delivering the annual operating plan.
Responsibilities
- Distributor Alignment
- Lead weekly, monthly & quarterly distributor review meetings, in alignment with the sales team, to review key operational metrics (ex: inventory vs. target, out of stock, past due, forecast accuracy, etc), identify risks and opportunities to deliver the S&OE plan and drive corrective actions to align the forward-looking plans.
- Strategically manage the outbound order shape to meet the targeted volume and aligned distributor receiving commitment, handing off an executable plan to order fulfillment and ensuring the distributor has the right beer, at the right place, at the right time.
- Act as the single point of contact for supply chain related questions, proactively communicating supply availability updates, supply chain initiatives and network changes.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of key market priorities and distributor ways of working to proactively influence the planning alignment processes.
- Ensure Distributors are optimally planning their portion of the Beer Division Supply Chain on CBI strategic focused SKUs.
- Digital enablement: Partner with advanced analytics to clearly define their objectives, and requirements needed to deliver them, to implement leading technology and digital solutions such as: EDI ordering, distributor dashboards, data lakes, joint score carding, Voice of the Customer, etc.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Develop and improve the effectiveness of the joint supply chain planning activities between CBI and assigned distributor partners, working closely with the Integrated Business Planning Team, S&OE, Order Fulfillment, and sales organization.
- Establish strong relationships with the sales organization, leveraging data and analytics in communicating key updates to the near-term plan, to drive alignment internally and externally.
- Accountable within the S&OE process to leverage insights to identify and close gaps to plan – both over & underordering – on a weekly basis, along with proactively communicating order changes both internally and externally.
- Proactively communicate key packages to prioritize to the order fulfillment team to maximize OTIF.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Translate the Distributor Management vision into executable process and weekly/daily tasks for the coordinators, delivering identified KPI/metric results.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities across the collaboration process to model with their distributor/sales partners that can be deployed across the broader Distributor Management team and strengthen the S&OE process.
- Implement digital tools and technology with their team and continue to develop the analytical capabilities of their team through coaching and development.
- Talent Management: Recruit, build and develop a team of high performing, supply chain professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Role Expertise
- Degree in supply chain or equivalent Supply Chain working experience, 5-7+ years in supply chain through proven experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Experience leading a team in delivering continued strong results required.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP), along with prior experience using customer ordering solutions and supply chain planning solutions, a plus.
- Experience in CPG, preferably bev alc industry, preferred.
- Experience leveraging data and analytics solutions, such as PowerBI, to glean insights and drive action.
- APICS certification or willingness to pursue, a plus.
- Prior experience in a sales role, a plus.

The salary range for this role is:
$92,500.00 – $141,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
