Our Siemens Government Technologies Digital Solutions organization is actively recruiting for a Professional Services Teamcenter Principal Solutions Architect.
As a Siemens Professional Services Solutions Architect, you will be the lead Architect for designing product lifecycle solutions and helping them realize their vision within complex projects and programs across all of our customers. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, technical leadership skills, process improvement skills as well as Teamcenter PLM configuration and customization implementation skills. In this role, you will perform as a trusted advisor on architectural design to address business problems ensuring that the technical integrity of the solution remains aligned to requirements and value delivery throughout project and that the various project solutions.
As part of the Professional Services team, you will work with and lead Consultants, Product Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts and Product Development teams to ensure project and customer success.
Responsibilities:
•Lead the design of the Teamcenter solution, ensuring that it supports scalability, reliability, security, and integration with other enterprise systems.
•Oversee and guide the extension of Teamcenter functionality to meet specific requirements while balancing technical constraints and best practices.
•Define and enforce configuration and deployment best practices, standards, and methodologies across the solution.
•Leverage industry best practices and templates for the Siemens PLM Software solution delivered to provide customer value.
•Develop documentation for configuration, configuration management, and best practices for customer programs
•Align the Teamcenter deployment and upgrades with the organization’s strategic goals, including long-term PLM roadmap and innovation.
•Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate how they could be leveraged to enhance the Teamcenter environment or broader IT ecosystem.
•Identify potential risks in the architecture, design, or implementation phases and assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies.
•Provide expert-level support for troubleshooting complex issues within the Teamcenter environment.
•Make high-level technical decisions regarding system configurations, tools, and technology stacks to be used in the Teamcenter environment.
•Provide guidance on advanced configuration and/or customization techniques, including development of custom workflows, processes, or data models within Teamcenter.
•Build and maintain relationships with third-party service providers and partners, ensuring they contribute to successful project outcomes.
•Guide and develop technical resources to deliver excellence for customers across the portfolio.
•Recommend training and development opportunities for technical resources on projects.
•Demonstrate how Siemens Government Technologies services will impact and integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, value and impact.
•Understand and demonstrate how Siemens Government Technologies services will impact and integrate with customers’ initiatives, business drivers, value and impact.
•Understand customers’ goals and objectives to identify what change initiatives are needed for the customer to be more efficient and productive.
•Effectively communicate with clients, Siemens sales team and project managers
•Communicate project processes and progress by interacting with the customer to support customer expectations and support customer adoption.
•Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather and understand business requirements for PLM systems and propose solutions that align with these needs.
•Engage with customers (internal or external) to understand their needs and challenges and translate those into system requirements and solutions. Collaboration between the different roles/responsibilities within the customer team.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or equivalent years of experience (10+) in PLM
•5+ years of experience in implementing/supporting Teamcenter Solutions
•Strong understanding of PLM solutions software
•Knowledgeable of and understands common software development principles and lifecycle
•Understands advance processes within the software, and how to move between the systems
•Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex issues to multi-level audiences throughout the company and government executives
•Good knowledge of Teamcenter configuration through BMIDE and application-based functions
•Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%. (future assignments are dependent on assigned program and location)
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
•5-8 years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing processes for design and development of products
•5+ years of experience working in a customer facing environment
•Good knowledge of Teamcenter Visualization capabilities
•Good Knowledge of Teamcenter BOM / CAD Mgmt
•Proficient with Standard MS Office applications, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc
•Experience with PLM systems and data constructs
•Knowledge of Teamcenter MFG
•Knowledge of Teamcenter SLM / MRO (Service Lifecycle Management/Maintenance Repair & Overhaul)
•Experience operating within a DoD entity or contractor
•CompTIA Security+ Certification
Security Clearance:
•Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if later required.
Work Location:
•Beavercreek, OH, with occasional remote

•The salary range for this position is $142,800.00 to $200,000.00. An annual incentive target also is part of the compensation package for this position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
