Sales Manager position for the EPS organization is a field-travel based position with the overall responsibility to lead and manage the EPS sales organization across the West region which includes the states of which includes the states of California, Washington,Arizona. Primary responsibilities for the position are to drive commitment and accountability across the west region sales teams to achieve / exceed sales goals. The West region Sales Manager reports directly to Head of EPS Zone for the Siemens SI Buildings.
As a Energy Performance Services Sales Manager, you will:
The West region Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring the success of business goals for the region sales organization. This is achieved by managing the regional sales teams in the development and implementation of direct and indirect sales strategy, understanding of customer’s needs and creation of a value proposition to the customer. This position is responsible for managing performance of the sales force and ensuring all direct sales employees are appropriately trained and competent in positioning and selling EPS solutions, products and services.
You will make an impact with these qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- In depth knowledge of the Siemens EPS value proposition and the application in target vertical markets which include, but not limited to: commercial and industrial, healthcare, higher education, state and local government, and the public and private K-12 school market.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire and lead an organization with a track record for establishing growth and development of sales personnel that drives sales across the full range of the solution and services portfolio.
- Minimum of 5 years managing sales employees.
- Ability to develop short term (3-6months) and long-term (2-3 years) strategic sales plans.
- Ability to develop and implement direct and indirect sales organizational structures and sales plans.
- Demonstrated Industry knowledge of the ESCO and Distributed Energy markets, its trends and key financial and organizational influences that support customer investment decisions.
- Demonstrate Management of sales activity and tracking of key sales (Funnel management, sales process, coverage of critical accounts, compliance topics, etc.).
- Demonstrate Experience with CRM tools, booking process, and sales productivity management tools.
- Able to travel and be in the field with sales teams and customers 60% or more as needed

- The pay range for this position is $132,650 – $227,400 and the annual incentive target is 15%. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
