Description

The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery, at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for a full-time mid-level community surgery position.  This is a unique, collaborative role as a UCLA Health Physician jointly providing clinical services for the UCLA Health South Bay community as well as for the Martin Luther King Community Hospital (MLKCH).  MLKCH is dedicated to addressing the diverse medical needs of South Los Angeles residents, many of whom have faced historical economic, geographic, and social barriers to care.


 



The University of California, Los Angeles is required to provide an estimate of the salary range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. Salary offers are determined based on candidate qualifications and experience. The target salary range for this position is 157,200.00-330,200.00 annual base salary. Additional productivity compensation and incentives are determined by the department.  

Qualifications
  • MD/DO Degree
  • Board eligible/certified in General Surgery.
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency.
  • Eligible for licensure in the State of California.
  • Demonstrated interest in clinical work and patient-centered care.
