Liquid Bottles, LLC, a wholesale packaging distributor in Palmetto, FL, is seeking a hard-working, dependable Warehouse/Shipping Associate to help keep up with the shipping needs for new business growth. Essential duties and responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks, and check in merchandise
• Prepare orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to company standards
• Use company computer systems to calculate shipping costs, prepare labels and prepare parcels for mailing
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• May assist in counting physical inventory
• Listen, comprehend, and follow direction
• Effectively communicate issues preventing orders being shipped out in a timely manner
• Fork Lift certification preferred

Qualification requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
• Good communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills
• Dependable, Reliable, and Flexible
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

Physical demands and abilities

• Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 75 lbs
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, and kneel
• Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
• Must be able to see and read up close and at a distance, accurately perceive color, have good peripheral vision and depth perception, and ability to adjust and focus
• Work area is not temperature-controlled
