Join the Phoenix Children’s Inpatient Pharmacy Team at our Thomas Campus in Phoenix! We’re seeking dedicated Pharmacy Technicians to support our pediatric patients. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll play a vital role in our inpatient pharmacy environment, ensuring the safe preparation of medications for children. Enjoy a rotating schedule of evening and day shifts, including every other weekend and coverage for 3 holidays per year. We offer opportunities for advancement, with positions ranging from Tech I, Tech II, and Tech Specialist, based on experience and additional training. This position, under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist, assists in the procurement, storage, preparation, distribution, and delivery of medications and information and other pharmaceutical products to Phoenix Children’s patients in a timely and accurate fashion and in accordance with established Federal, State, and local laws & regulations and policies and procedures. This position receives direct supervision from Inpatient Pharmacy Supervisors and Managers.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent. (Required)
Experience
- Hospital experience. (Preferred)
- Ability to compound intravenous medications (IV). (Preferred)
Certifications
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona or able to obtain license as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Arizona prior to start date. (Required)
- Nationally Certified PTCB. (Required)
