Position Summary
This position provides physical therapy services, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, to a pediatric population, from infant through adolescence/young adulthood. Performs treatment of patients using modalities including exercise, neuromuscular reeducation, mobilization, heat/cold, taping, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound, specific to age and developmental/functional level determined by assessment of the supervising Physical Therapist.
Education
- Associate Degree from a school accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association. (Required)
Experience
- Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Current Arizona State Board of Physical Therapy certification, prior to start date. (Required)
- Current AZ DPS fingerprint clearance card, prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association, prior to start date (Required)
Special Skills
- Specialty training in pediatric ortho, neuro, NDT, taping, child development, or other relevant pediatric areas. (Preferred)
