Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Post dynamic, engaging content across all social media platforms daily, including real-time match updates from tournaments in multiple time zones. Build compelling storylines that connect with and excite our audience, ensuring all content is accurate and resonates.
- Generate fresh, creative ideas for social media across current and emerging platforms (Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and beyond). Craft grammatically and statistically accurate content that captivates and engages.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring daily social trends and analyzing competitor content. Use insights to pitch unique, standout ideas that differentiate our brand.
- Create and edit eye-catching videos and graphics using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator, tailoring content to align with platform-specific best practices.
- Work closely with production teams to plan, schedule, and execute high-quality content, ensuring seamless integration with the brand’s voice and strategy.
- Assist team in organizing and planning of the social media calendar, monitoring interactions across brand channels, and fostering meaningful interactions with our audience.
- Assist in compiling analytics to create customized reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and use insights to refine strategy.
- Contribute to daily brainstorming sessions to enhance social media presence and overall marketing strategy. Collaborate with the team to continuously elevate the brand’s digital impact.
Required qualifications :
- 1-3 years’ experience in a fast-paced social media environment focused on content creation, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry
- A passion and knowledge of tennis, including players, tournaments, match dynamics, and historical context
- An understanding of internet culture and experience creating compelling digital media content across multiple social media platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Reddit, and YouTube
- Strong editorial judgment and critical thinking skills to craft narratives and translate them into engaging social media content
- Proficiency in video editing, graphic design software, and native social analytics tools
- Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for social media and content production
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Strong organizational and decision-making skills, with the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, online/multimedia, or a related field
- Availability to work mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays around the tennis calendar

The base hourly compensation range for this role is $19.20 to $21.40 per hour. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
