Description:Assemble and rework electronic components, printed wiring assemblies/ circuit card assemblies, chassis, following prescribed processes and assembly procedures.
Work from drawings, sketches, system change requests, running lists, schematics, oral and/or written instructions to produce a mechanical assembly and to perform hookup of cables, harnesses and wiring in completing assembly of units.
Assembly may consist of operations such as parts placement, wiring, mechanical assembly, soldering, potting and other manual tasks.
Candidates should work well in a team, maintain 6S standards.
US Citizenship is required.
MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO WORK ANY SHIFT
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in the following; working from engineering drawings, reviewing schematics, use of engineering documents or manufacturing planning, assembly and soldering, computer skills and good communication skills.
Experience with fabrication and installation of cables, harnesses and wiring in completing assembly of units. Use of hand and power assisted tools to install and secure hardware used to affect component placement and structural integrity of assembled product.
High School degree or equivalency.

In addition to the Basic Qualifications, the following skills are desired: mechanical aptitude, experience working in team environment and MRP/SAP exposure. Is able to understand manufacturing process documentation. Lean and Six Sigma exposure.
Fiber Optic Cable assembly experience is a plus.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
The base range for this position in New York is $29.97 – $31.03.
