What You Will Do:
The Finance manager plays a critical role in supporting business decision-making by providing timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis. They will conduct financial modeling, financial consolidation, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting, while identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Month-End Activities: Perform essential month – end close procedures, including:
- Journal Entry preparation for Fusion to upload into Blackline
- Reporting: Prepare month-end financial reports and presentations for senior management.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze actual results explaining variances and identifying potential issues.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis: Maintain and Develop financial consolidation models to evaluate SG&A and PEC performance and able to identify areas of risk/opportunities.
- Budgeting: Participate in the annual budgeting process in Compass and manage the Allocation Keys and Methodology for allocating to relevant entities.
- Forecasting: Develop and forecast trends using compass and communicate resulting cost allocation to relevant entities. Provide monthly R&O (Risk & Opportunities) landing updates to manufacturing sites, reflecting all plant-incurred costs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and provide financial support specifically with HR and Salary Planning. Generate and review monthly departmental SG&A reports (Budget/Trend vs. Actuals, PEC analysis) with respective
department heads. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement best practices regarding SGA & PEC Reporting. Creation of a consolidated PEC view across total Operations both Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
- Manage approval process for MyMarket Purchase Orders, Vendor Workflows, Fieldglass Temp StaffRequests, and CERs related to CAPEX.
- Management of NOE BU. Including working with Global Teams to align on HC, plan Trends/Budgets in Compass, and cost reinvoicing through IRIS/Titan.
- CAPEX reporting and tracking in CRS.
Competencies/Skills:
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to analyze complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Financial reporting experience and use of SAP, Compass,or similar systems highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
- Accounting knowledge: Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy and thoroughness in financial analysis and reporting.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management and multiple business units.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years related work experience.
- Strong Computer skills required.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CMA, CPA) are a plus.
- Must have the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast – paced work environment.
