Summary:
Join our programmatic sales organization – a team that creatively develops cross-platform, automated solutions across Warner Bros. Discovery’s digital portfolio of premium Sports, Entertainment and News offerings. We’re seeking a dynamic and motivated Programmatic Account Executive with expertise in both Digital and Programmatic platforms. This role reports directly to the Programmatic Sales Director.
The Programmatic Account Executive is responsible for selling across all of WBD’s digital properties and is expected to navigate monetization strategies within an evolving landscape. He/She will be responsible for building and leveraging programmatic relationships with key contacts at major advertising agencies, trading desks, and direct clients while partnering with the US National teams to deliver cross-platform programs. In this role, he/she will not only generate revenue through partnerships but also collaborate closely with Ad Tech, Marketing, Yield, and Account Management teams.
The ideal candidate has a track record of driving sales revenue via programmatic transaction types, has strong relationships in market, and is a self-starting team player with a positive attitude.
Role Expectations:
- Develop new business through prospecting and personal network of contacts
- Manage existing programmatic clients and scale up our partnerships
- Use data to identify strategic opportunities to engage buyers and drive incremental revenue
- Develop and manage a pipeline of potential buyers and convert these relationships into new deals
- Partner with direct sales team to help identify, pitch, & close/execute programmatic deals
- Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals and performance targets
- Fluently represent WBD’s programmatic offering in market as internal/external subject matter expert
- Own relationships with programmatic buyers and decision-makers, from the trading teams to the C-level
Qualifications:
- Deep Programmatic sales experience – with track record of regularly exceeding sales goals
- Strong understanding of digital marketplaces and streaming-like ecosystems
- Strong ability to demonstrate leadership both internally and externally
- Ability to think strategically with understanding of the “big picture”
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Entrepreneurial and/or startup experience – combined with experience working at a big media company – a plus
- At least 4 years’ advertising sales experience required
- Must be eligible to work in the US

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $89,180.00 – $165,620.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
