Job Purpose

BBC Studios’ Global Media & Streaming group is hiring a Product Marketing Manager to support our advertising products within the Advertising Product, Technology & Operations team. You’ll craft and lead internal go-to-market strategies, manage the sales lifecycle, and deliver competitor and industry insights to inform product development across our portfolio.

Working closely with Ad Product Management, Ad Sales, Product Strategy & Design, and Commercial Marketing, you’ll help drive adoption and advocacy for our ad products across the business.


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develop clear, compelling product messaging that highlights the value of our advertising products to internal teams-from editorial to sales and leadership.
  • Create engaging materials and lead training sessions tailored to different teams’ needs.
  • Translate product roadmaps, features, and updates into clear narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Partner with commercial marketing and sales teams to understand regional needs and ensure effective product positioning.
  • Serve as the go-to expert for internal product updates, enhancements, and launches.
  • Share regular competitive insights and industry trends to inform product and commercial strategies.
  • Track product adoption, creating case studies and collaborating with marketing to amplify success stories.
  • Maintain consistent, inclusive, and impactful messaging across all internal product communications.

Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience


  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, product communications, or a similar role-ideally within media, entertainment, or news publications.
  • Understanding of ad products in digital news, media, or streaming environments.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills-able to simplify complex product details for diverse audiences.
  • Confidence leading presentations, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines, partnering across teams to drive alignment.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working closely with Product, Sales, and Marketing teams.
  • Creative problem-solver who can spot and solve communication gaps.
  • Experience supporting sales teams with product messaging and sales materials.


Compensation

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $95,000 to $105,000. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position.This range is not inclusive of a competitive bonus, flexible, hybrid working schedule & benefits including but not limited to: 100% BBCS covered medical & dental insurance, vision, & 401k match.
