Program Information:


  • 10-week Summer Internship Start Date (non-negotiable): June 2, 2025
  • Program Duration: June 2, 2024 – August 8, 2025

Role Summary:



The U.S. Emissions and OBD Certification Intern will assist with various projects and will involve contributions to the engineering team for the purpose of obtaining timely approval of future model year OBD systems or to resolve identified issues in production vehicles. One major project will expose the Intern to the In-Use emissions testing activities in the United States. Additionally, the Intern will assist in the vehicle procurement and preparation process of testing vehicles.



Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the vehicle procurement and preparation process of testing vehicles.
  • Support the maintenance and improvement of an internal team Confluence and Jira website to track and steer the certification of OBD systems (i.e. deficiencies or phase-in requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Degree track for Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree program
  • Strong GPA
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
