Position Summary

The Sr Benefits Analyst is responsible for benefit administration of all benefits. This position maintains benefit set-up in the HRIS system and ensures ongoing benefit-related data integrity. Responsibilities include functioning as the liaison between vendors and employees, assisting in resolution of complex, non-routine benefits issues, communicating benefit offerings, and maintaining accurate enrollment and eligibility information to ensure appropriate premium payment by both participant and PCH. Additionally, this position provides project management for benefit-related projects.



Education
  • Associates Degree in Business or related field OR a combination of education and experience. (Required)

Experience
  • Five (5) years of HR experience that includes responsibility for coordination of benefit programs. (Required)
  • Three (3) years of Windows based HRIS benefit administration experience. (Required)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, KRONOS time keeping systems, Lawson HRIS. (Preferred)
  • Experience with regulations regarding benefits administration: COBRA, Section 125k plans, FMLA, USERRA, HIPAA, 401(K), ERISA, record keeping requirements and QDRO. (Preferred)

Certifications
  • Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) (Preferred)

Special Skills
  • Communication skills to include presenting to groups of employees. (Required)
