Infectious Disease-Part Time MD/DO Teleacute Infectious Disease (Remote)

UNC Physician?s Network is seeking a part time (.6 FTE) Board Certified/Eligible Infectious Disease Physician (MD/DO) to provide virtual teleacute services to a variety of patients at multiple UNC Health community hospital facilities. This role will provide both synchronous and asynchronous consults to patients. 

About This Position: 

? Remote position, offering the opportunity for work/life balance with no commute.
? Service operates Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
?Virtual consultations of hospitalized patients, consisting of adults 18 and older.
?High-quality care to adult (18+ years old) hospital patients who need medical services.
?Candidate must be physically located in North Carolina.
?Competitive compensation and benefits.
?No call.
?EPIC electronic medical record platform utilized. 

Ideal Candidate: 

?2+ years of experience is preferred.
?Board Certified/Eligible in Infectious Disease.
?Telemedicine experience is a plus, but not required.
?Open-minded and flexible with change.
?Dedicated to developing new and exciting ways to deliver care.
