Required License/Registration/Certification |
Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician by either PTCB (PTCE) or NHA (ExCPT); Registered with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements |
May include standing for greater than 5 hours at a time and possibly walking several miles per day. May require the ability to reach items above shoulder level and lift up to 25 pounds.

Day Shift, 7a-7p (5 days) 7a-530p (2 days) 7days on/7days off; with some holiday requirements

Job Summary |
The Pharmacy Senior Technician assists pharmacists in providing medications to patients in an inpatient hospital setting by compounding complex sterile and non-sterile products and participating in the delivery of comprehensive pharmaceutical care. Areas of service include Chandler Inpatient, GS Inpatient, OR Satellite, Pediatric Satellite and Oncology Satellites.

Preferred Education/Experience |
Associate or bachelor’s degree and hospital and/or retail pharmacy technician experience preferred.
