Consumer Sales Finance (CSF) is a global finance team focused on inclusion, culture, and talent development. CSF provides financial expertise across the Consumer business, working with Marketing, Supply & Ops, and Sales to align on success measures and ensure product availability, understand partner channel strategy. We collaborate with related finance functions to create financial plans that reflect our CSO goals and growth path. CSF manages the CSO Rhythm of Business (RoB) and P&L, incorporating customer and partner insights into our analysis and plans

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will bring a combination of finance and business acumen, leadership, and influencing skills to this space to drive outstanding financial results in close alignment with our business partners.
- Lead Consumer Sales Surface Finance in Americas, providing data-driven insights, developing deep business partnerships, and serving as a trusted advisor to the regional Surface Category Lead and Sales teams.
- Analyze business and financial performance, communicate key drivers and trends, and align promotional strategies with supply and revenue forecasts to achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Apply strategic thinking to ensure investments align with priorities and communicate recommendations and scenario analysis to finance and business leaders. Translate targets into accountable budgets and actionable insights.
- Manage and review financial performance, driving ROB deliverables for planning, budget, and forecast.
- Ensure compliance with Microsoft policies on risk and compliance, driving a culture of adherence and accountability.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
- OR Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.
Financial Analysis IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 – $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 – $200,500 per year.
