The pharmacy at Barnes-Jewish uses an integrated practice model with more unit-based positions. Here, department staff has access to a number of drug information resources, including many online references accessible from department computers. An on-site drug information center provides support for more in-depth questions.
Preferred Qualifications
Role Purpose
Promotes safe and effective medication use by participation in patient care and performance improvement programs under supervision of residency preceptors. Rotates through an individualized one-year program of education and training designed to develop the resident’s knowledge and skills in contemporary pharmacy practice.
